Artist statement
Working with textile is a daily activity for me. I love
the beauty of the fabric, the soft- fold and the possibilities for processing.
The basis of each work is a self-dyed piece of fabric that I edit with stamps, screen printing, acrylic paint.
Each work consist of a number of layers, especially textile, but also paper or metal. These are edited intensive with mechanical stitching.
My work is my life. It's a abstract representation of the things that I feel or of the things that happen around me.
Art does not reflects the visible, but makes visible.
